Theaterclass

For concordia i gave a 24 - lesson theaterdesign class.

The first 8 classes were an introduction to theater, design principles, light and reading a text as a designer.

For an new production every member made a design, one of which would be choosen. However, for the production all designs could be used. The scenes became different pages in a big book at the stage which could be turned.

The 16 remaining classes were used for working out their own idea, building the set, getting it on stage and helping at the performance. Tool knowledge and using them, practical issues, painting, making it transportable were part of the curriculum

All students got a nice introduction to stage building and it's requirements and demands
