De meiden
A set was designed for Jean Genet's "de meiden"
In this set a huge cupboard is used with reflective doors. This enablkes the actor to play with the back to the audience but still the face can be seen. The trick should not be given away and mirrors are also awkward on a set because of unwanted views. So they had to be hidden / covered. THe doors were split and got doublke hinges. Now the door could be opened normally and it could be opened as a mirror.
